Lancashire Constabulary is looking for a Service Desk Team Leader to join our team to be based at Hutton Headquarters.
As a Service Desk Team Leader, you will be responsible for first line management of the Estates Support Officer team, tasking, prioritising and managing work demands and performance, ensuring the well-being and development of team members to maximise efficiency and effectiveness of the Service.
You will communicate and engage effectively with stakeholders, positively promoting the work of the EFM Service Desk and wider EFM Department and acting as a champion for the Department as a first point of contact service provider.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the work of the Estates and Facilities Management Service Desk team is managed effectively, accurately and meets any Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators that are in place with internal and external customers.
- To support the Estates and Facilities Management Service Desk team to build and develop working relationships with staff and contractors to enable a high quality, efficient, effective and reliable service to be delivered
- To manage and develop a highly motivated and skilled team in a busy environment.

Skills and Experience:
- Must possess or be willing to work towards within 2 years a relevant Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH.
- Experience of line management including managing, motivating and developing staff to nurture a highly skilled team
- Experience of developing working practices, processes, and procedures within a customer service environment
- Hold a full valid UK Manual driving license and be willing to undertake and pass the Constabulary Basic Driver Assessment prior to driving a Constabulary Vehicle
Vetting and Medical:
Please be aware, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Recruitment Vetting (RV). Please note, there is a minimum 3 year UK residency requirement for Recruitment vetting and you must be 18 years old at the time of applying. Successful applicants will also be subject to a medical assessment.
