Every call matters. Every decision counts. Every day is different.
At Lancashire Constabulary, our Police Control Room Operators are often the first people someone speaks to when they need help. It's a challenging, fast-moving role that demands professionalism, empathy, and quick thinking, but it's also one of the most rewarding careers in policing.
Based at Police Headquarters, Hutton, you'll join our dedicated Contact Management Team, handling emergency and non-emergency calls, supporting frontline officers, and helping to ensure that people receive the right response at the right time.
No two days are ever the same. One moment you could be reassuring a vulnerable caller, the next coordinating resources for an urgent incident. If you're looking for a career where you can genuinely make a difference every day, this is your opportunity.
