Serious & Organised Crime Co-ordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Serious and Organised Crime Coordinator to join our Intelligence team. This is a key role supporting the Force's strategic and tactical response to serious and organised crime through the effective development, management and dissemination of intelligence. Working closely with police officers, staff, partner agencies and other forces, you will help ensure intelligence is used to safeguard communities and support operational activity.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Receiving, assessing and processing intelligence and information, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
  • Conducting research into crime, disorder, individuals, property and emerging intelligence using a range of available resources.
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with Intelligence Units, operational teams, other police forces and partner organisations.
  • Updating and maintaining intelligence databases and force systems to ensure information remains accurate and accessible.
  • Preparing and disseminating intelligence through briefings, bulletins and verbal updates.
  • Supporting effective data management and providing general administrative support where required.
  • Completing mandatory and role-specific training to maintain professional knowledge and skills.
