We're looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Recruitment & Onboarding Manager to lead our recruitment and onboarding function, ensuring we continue to attract diverse, high-performing individuals who are committed to making a difference across Staffordshire. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a recruitment professional who thrives on leading teams, influencing stakeholders and driving innovative resourcing strategies within a complex organisation.

About the role

As Recruitment & Onboarding Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team responsible for delivering an exceptional candidate and onboarding experience from attraction through to joining the organisation.

Working closely with senior leaders, People Partners, HR colleagues and key stakeholders, you'll translate workforce priorities into effective recruitment and resourcing plans that help us meet both current and future organisational needs. You'll play a key role in shaping recruitment strategies, enhancing processes and ensuring our approach remains modern, inclusive and fit for the future.

This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to influence organisational decisions, champion continuous improvement and ensure diversity and inclusion remain at the heart of our recruitment activity.

What you'll be doing

Leading and developing a high-performing Recruitment & Onboarding Team.

Designing and delivering innovative recruitment campaigns and specialist resourcing activity.

Creating a positive and seamless candidate and onboarding experience.

Working collaboratively with managers and stakeholders across the organisation.

Using market insight and workforce data to shape recruitment decisions.

Driving continuous improvement, efficiencies and best practice.

Developing recruitment policies and strategies that support organisational objectives.

Championing diversity, inclusion and positive action initiatives.

Representing recruitment activity within governance meetings and leadership forums.
