About the team

The Report Fraud team is responsible for managing the national fraud and cybercrime reporting service, ensuring that reports from members of the public and organisations are received, assessed, and processed effectively. The team acts as a critical interface between victims, law enforcement, and partner agencies, maintaining the systems, processes, and data that enable reports to be recorded, analysed, and disseminated to the appropriate policing and investigative bodies.

In addition to operational delivery, the team drives continuous improvement across the service, focusing on enhancing the victim experience, improving data quality, and maximising the value of intelligence generated from reports. This includes overseeing technology and transformation initiatives, managing service risks and performance, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure the service remains effective, resilient, and able to respond to the evolving threat posed by fraud and cyber-enabled crime.
