We are seeking a Command and Control (C&C) System Configuration Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting and developing critical policing technology systems. Working under guidance, you will provide configuration, administration, and technical support for the C&C suite of systems and Pronto, helping to ensure these essential applications are effective, secure, and fit for purpose.
What You'll Be DoingIn this varied role, you will:
- Configure, administer, and support the C&C suite of systems and Pronto.
- Implement, test, and maintain new system functionality, software releases, and business process changes.
- Work closely with users, ICT colleagues, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
- Analyse data, produce reports, and provide expert recommendations to support operational and business needs.
- Assist with system testing, defect resolution, and change management activities.
- Monitor system performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the optimisation of business and technical processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure system access controls remain secure and regularly audited.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support the delivery of presentations and demonstrations where required.
This role is vital in ensuring that Lincolnshire Police's command and control systems operate efficiently, securely, and effectively. By supporting system improvements, maintaining high-quality configurations, and helping users get the best from the technology, you will contribute directly to the smooth delivery of policing services and operational effectiveness.
