Do you have a passion for working with young people and want to make a real difference to their lives? We are looking for both volunteers to join our team of Police Cadet Leaders to share their life experience, skills, and enthusiasm with our brilliant cadets across Nottinghamshire.
There is no requirement to have an in-depth knowledge of policing, just the willingness and enthusiasm to help the young people of Nottinghamshire.
As a Cadet Leader, you will:
✨ Inspire young minds and boost their confidence
✨ Support practical learning about policing, life skills, and teamwork
✨ Help run weekly two-hour cadet sessions full of discovery and fun
✨ Take part in public events, community initiatives, and crime prevention work
The Cadet scheme runs in school term time across different locations in the Nottinghamshire on one evening per week. You do not have to be present every week, whether it’s four hours a month or a bit more, your time could have a lasting impact.
You will be provided with the training required and a uniform.
Be a part of something bigger & be the reason a young person believes in themselves.
Tell us why you want to become a cadet leader and what skills will you bring to the role (no more than 500 words).
