Communications Data Investigator

To provide Lincolnshire Police with a Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for the lawful acquisition of communications data. Provide Lincolnshire Police with operational support in response to live-time incidents, on-going operations or reported crime ensuring compliance with relevant Codes of Practice both within own role and in relation to all others involved in the process of acquiring communications data.

Provide a single point of contact on behalf of Lincolnshire Police with the Investigatory Powers Commissioner’s Office (IPCO).

Ensure that efficiency and good practice is promoted whilst complying with the relevant legislation.

Demonstrate the force values at all time. All staff involved in carrying out functions in this role will do so in accordance with the principles of the Code of Ethics. The aim of the Code of Ethics is to support each member of the policing profession to deliver the highest professional standards in their service to the public.
