We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as a Protective Services Support Officer in our Safeguarding and Public Protection Department. Could you be who we are looking for?
About the team/Department you will be joining:
SNPT Domestic Abuse Public Protection Safeguarding Team – Cockett Police Station.
Full time role (37 hours permanent, flexible contract)
Agile working will be considered, and core hours are 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
About the role and your key responsibilities:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated support officer to join our team to contribute to safeguarding the most vulnerable members of our community.
- Providing administration and secretarial support to the domestic abuse team in delivering their services to the public.
- The successful candidate will monitor, and co-ordinate allocated tasks and priorities between the Unit, partner agencies and communities on their behalf.
- The role also includes arranging meetings, liaising with attendees, providing minute taking services and tracking actions.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
- Must have a good standard of education to at least GCSE A-C Level, including Maths and English, or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and abilities.
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to communicate complex information to diverse audiences effectively
- Must be able to collect and accurately record information
- Previous Administrative and Customer Service Experience
The successful candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
