- Part time post 18.5hrs based at Pontypridd Police station, your working hours will be Monday – Sunday 0800- 1800, with weekend enhancements paid pro rata*
- Part time post 18.5hrs based at Neath Police station, your working hours will be Monday – Sunday 0800- 1800, with weekend enhancements paid pro rata*
- Part time post 18.5hrs based at Merthyr Police station, your working hours will be Monday – Sunday 0800- 1800, with weekend enhancements paid pro rata*
- Part time post 18.5hrs based at Barry Police station, your working hours will be Monday – Sunday 0800- 1800, with weekend enhancements paid pro rata*
- Part time post 18.5hrs based at Cardiff Bay Police Station, your working hours will be 0800-0200 Monday-Sunday, with 20% shift allowance and weekend enhancements paid pro rata*
*Shift Allowance, weekend enhancements and expenses will commence following an initial 5-week training, at a venue to be confirmed.
**All posts will be required to provide resilience cover at all stations within the force area.

About the team/Department you will be joining:
The Station Enquiry Officers will offer you the exciting opportunity to work with our dynamic front desk teams, delivering a vital interface between our communities and South Wales Police.
About the role and your key responsibilities:
The primary function is to serve members of our communities, providing a resolution at first point of contact, at the front desk, either in person or via the telephone. The role is based on the delivery of a high-quality service. Founded on professional training, equipping the post holder to meet the needs and expectations of our communities.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
This is a challenging job where we require unique, resilient individuals that can work under pressure, prioritise workloads and use their initiative, whilst managing sensitive and sometimes distressing situations. Individuals need to understand the importance to provide a good quality and prompt service to customers. In return, you will have an immensely satisfying job where you are making a significant contribution to safeguarding the communities of South Wales
Essential criteria for the role
Level 3 Welsh Language is essential, or the willingness to work towards Level 3 within the first 12 months. Suitable training and support will be provided.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to RV Vetting.
