About the team/Department you will be joining:

The Digitisation Programme manages and processes legacy crime documentation insuring that the information is not only accessible but also relevant to today’s policing and data protection requirements. We work Monday-Friday on a flexible contract based in Bridgend. 

About the role and your key responsibilities:

The Post holder will be required to work amongst a specialised team responsible for providing a range of Research, disclosure and administrative activities which includes scanning and sorting of legacy documents to support the programmes’ function. The post holder may be requested to undertake duties within other areas of Information Governance in accordance with the needs and priorities of the department. 

What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:

The post holder needs to be able to pay particular attention to effectively capture, research, input, and interpret information as well as prioritise tasks, to ensure compliance with local and national guidance, whilst adhering to legislative requirements. The post holder will be expected to identify anomalies and discrepancies within legacy documents and information systems and endeavour to amend or report them.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
