We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as Investigative Research, Performance & Policy Development Officer in our Safeguarding and Public Protection Department. Could you be the one we are looking for?
About the team/Department you will be joining:
You will be joining a small team based in The Kingsway, Bridgend.
About the role and your key responsibilities:
The function of the role is to support the Safeguarding and Public Protection Department business portfolio relating to safeguarding and public protection issues, including investigative research for best practice, maintenance and development of existing public protection policies and procedural documents and to provide performance information on behalf of the business area.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications.
Must possess good organisational skills.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication.
Must demonstrate the ability to research, collate, analyse and disseminate information.
Must have experience of project working.
Must be able to analyse and produce performance reports when required.
Must be able to develop, monitor, implement systems and procedures and maintain quality standards.
Proven experience of researching and assessing information and identifying risk.
Able to research and identify best practice for use in the Protecting Vulnerable People (PVP) portfolio.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
