About the team/Department you will be joining:

Located at our Police Headquarters, BRIDGEND .

South Wales Police have an exiting opportunity that has arisen for a fulltime Estates Administrative Assistant on a permanent basis. The Estates Administrative Assistant will add to our already strong Administration team within Estates. The successful candidate will assist the Customer Services Manager and manage administrative processes within all functional areas of the Estates & Facilities Department including processing financial transactions, be the resilience for the internal / external Mail.

About the role and your key responsibilities:

An opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant. The successful person will provide 37 hours per week Monday to Friday support. This is a flexible working position that in time, will allow some degree of working flexibly.

What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:

The successful candidate must carry out general administrative duties which may include:-

  • Formatting documents and update spreadsheets
  • Customer service experience
  • Co-ordination of office diaries for Senior Management
  • Mail collection and distribution
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications,
  • Be able to assess priorities within a very busy department
  • Be able to work as a member of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Must hold a current valid full driving licence

Please note the successful candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to the required level RV
