Careers Force Control Room (FCR) Call Handler
Our Force Control Room Call Handler recruitment will be opening on 30th January 2026.As a Call Handler, you will be part of an inclusive team of professionals delivering an excellent service to the public.
You will work in an environment which changes from minute-to-minute. No two days will be the same as you ensure that the public feel valued; helping to build confidence in the police service. You will be dealing with emergency and non-emergency contact via a variety of channels.
Often callers can be distressed and in a time critical situation. You will need to take control, gain relevant information and make dynamic decisions whilst being empathetic, compassionate and supportive.
Successful candidates will be working a full time shift pattern. All shift patterns will be working 24/7 and includes bank holidays and weekends.
