The Digital Services Department serves both Gwent and South Wales Police and is charged with improving our services through the application of technology. Our team is responsible for making the process of policing more efficient, effective, and better through the introduction of digital technology. This busy department covers all the main digital programmes in the force from Facial Recognition Technology to HR Systems, Digital Interviews and Fleet Telematics to name but a few.
This is an excellent opportunity for applicants who are looking for a 12 month work placement to join a specialist department and gain work experience and training.
The Business Administration Postgraduate will work as part of the Business Support Branch within the Digital Services Division, providing business and project administration support to the Project Managers and Benefits Realisation Manager to successfully deliver collaboration projects across South Wales Police and Gwent Police.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving efficiency savings and improvements to service delivery in support of the Joint Digital Services Strategy and the effective delivery of operational policing.

Qualification Criteria
Must have a good standard of education to at least GCSE A-C Level, including Maths and English, or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and abilities.
Must possess a degree at 2:1 or higher and have graduated within the last 3 years of 14th September 2026.
