Crime and Intelligence Analyst
About the Role

In this role, you’ll undertake crime and intelligence research and deliver high-quality analytical products that inform investigations, resource allocation, and policing priorities. You’ll become a subject matter expert in your thematic area while gaining exposure to a wide range of operational and investigative tasks.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct analysis at strategic, tactical, operational, and investigative levels using advanced analytical tools and techniques.
- Identify patterns, trends, and emerging threats to support decision-making and resource prioritisation.
- Produce intelligence products in line with the National Intelligence Model (NIM) and authorised professional practice (APP).
- Collaborate with internal teams and partner agencies, providing expert advice and recommendations.
- Research, collate, and evaluate data from multiple sources to create evidence-based insights.
- Communicate complex findings through reports, briefings, and presentations, including evidential standard products for court proceedings.
- Mentor and support colleagues, ensuring quality assurance and continuous improvement.
