Core Digital Policing Configuration (CPD) Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced System Configuration Manager to lead and manage the configuration and administration of Lincolnshire Police’s Core Digital Policing (CDP) Products, including Local NICHE, PRONTO, BWV, and DEMS. This is a pivotal role that combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring our systems operate efficiently and securely to support frontline policing.
As the System Configuration Manager, you will:
- Take ownership of the CDP system configuration function.
- Provide expert advice on high-level configuration and administration.
- Lead a dedicated team, overseeing implementation, testing, and deployment of new functionality and software releases.
- Maintain a deep understanding of CDP products, interfaces, and associated systems.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, senior leadership, and regional partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver effective system configuration and administration services.
- Interpret user requirements into system designs and processes.
- Lead and mentor the system administration team, ensuring adherence to force values and the Code of Ethics.
- Oversee testing and configuration of new functionality and software updates.
- Ensure secure system access and compliance with IT policies, standards, and governance.
- Analyse data, produce reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with third-party suppliers and regional stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and demos for senior officers and partners.
