We have an exciting opportunity for someone to #JoinUs as a support Officer in our Workforce Accessibility Team based in Human Resources. Could you be who we are looking for?

You will work with the Workforce Accessibility Team to take a lead in Force developments which promote improved inclusivity and accessibility across the South Wales Police workforce. You will be located at Police Headquarters, Bridgend, although you may need to travel across the Force’s area.

The Role:

Working as part of a small HR team you will assist with the management of the timely delivery of a range of support services including advice, guidance, assessments and provision of equipment for police officers and staff with a neurodiversity or disability adjustment requirement.

You will provide administrative and organisational support for the Workforce Accessibility Team and will act as a single point of contact for all internal and external enquiries about workplace accessibility and adjustments.

You will be pivotal in setting up systems across South Wales Police, working closely with both internal teams and external organisations supporting the development of streamlined processes to monitor timely and effective reasonable adjustments being implemented.

Your Experience:

We are keen to hear from you if you are highly competent with Microsoft systems and have previous administrative experience.

You must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and understand the principles of confidentiality.

You must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise own workload.
