Intelligence Support Officer

Lincolnshire Police is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intelligence Support Officer to join our Sensitive Intelligence Unit. This is a pivotal role supporting intelligence development and enabling effective decision-making across strategic and tactical policing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and evaluate intelligence using the Force intelligence system.
- Conduct research into crime, disorder, property, and individuals using available resources.
- Liaise with internal units, other Forces, and external agencies.
- Update and maintain intelligence databases and systems.
- Disseminate intelligence through briefings, bulletins, and verbal updates.
- Provide administrative support and respond to intelligence requests from partner agencies.
- Promote good practice and a corporate approach across operational environments.

Essential:
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in using IT systems and databases.
- Commitment to the principles of the Code of Ethics and safeguarding responsibilities.
