Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference? Lincolnshire Police is seeking a dedicated Intelligence Support Officer to join our Intelligence Development Unit. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to public safety by supporting intelligence operations that inform critical policing decisions.

About the Role

As an Intelligence Support Officer, you will be at the heart of our intelligence function. You’ll monitor, analyse, and collate a wide range of information and intelligence products, helping to shape operational and strategic responses across the Force. Your work will directly support officers and senior managers, ensuring intelligence is timely, accurate, and actionable.

You’ll attend key meetings, produce briefings, identify patterns and trends, and liaise with partner agencies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident working independently while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse intelligence aligned with Force priorities
  • Conduct research using open-source and internal systems
  • Produce and disseminate intelligence briefings using emerging technologies
  • Attend and contribute to daily meetings, taking minutes and sharing intelligence requirements
  • Identify patterns and trends to support proactive policing
  • Support tactical tasking and coordination processes
  • Respond to intelligence requests from partner agencies

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in analysing and reporting intelligence
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence in working independently and managing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working practices
