How to Apply -  Recruitment Process & Conditions

 

 

To be eligible to apply, you will have successfully completed your two/three year probationary period at the time of application (entry route type dependant).

 

  • We only currently accept transferring officers from a UK Home Office Force. Unfortunately BTP doesn't qualify. 
  •  The recruitment process will follow a set programme of application, paper sift, competency based interview, conditional offer, vetting (including biometrics), medical checks, reference checks and fitness test.
  • Applicants must hold the National Standard Driving Qualification.
  • Please note that applicants’ disciplinary & attendance records will be assessed as part of the vetting process.

Interviews : Planned for week commencing 21st to 29th August 2025 online via MS Teams.
