Accredited Financial Investigator

Applications are invited for the post of Police Staff Accredited Financial Investigator.

We are seeking suitably qualified candidates to investigate complaints of money laundering, confiscation and detained cash investigations and the investigation of disclosures made by Financial Institutions.

The post holder will need to possess practical working knowledge of PACE 1984, POCA 2002 and Money Laundering regulations. In addition, PIP Level 2 Accreditation would be of benefit, although not essential.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will be able to take the lead and initiative on numerous investigations, ensuring that work is prioritised appropriately. We are seeking applications from candidates who can demonstrate they have excellent communication, investigative and interviewing skills. You will need to possess an analytical approach as you will often be dealing with large amounts of data.

Although not essential it would be advantageous to be experienced in partnership working, as well as being competent in the use of Force computer systems.
