We are looking for individuals to #JoinUs as Coroners Officers in our Pontypridd and Swansea coronial teams. Could you be who we are looking for?
About the team/Department you will be joining:
We work 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday
We work with a local authority administration team supporting HM Coroner and the Coronial Service
We work out of Coroner Services, Court House St, Pontypridd and Guildhall in Swansea. We have positions available in both locations. Therefore, please specify in your competencies which location you would prefer.
About the role and your key responsibilities:
The role will comprise of:
- compiling reports and completing records as required by HM Coroner
- to gather and collate relevant case data for user case file and records for both South Wales Police systems and the coronial Civica system

What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
- We are looking for someone who has previous investigative experience with gathering, collating and presenting evidence / reports
- We are keen to hear from you if you are computer literate and have experience in conducting enquiries for user case file and records
- You need to be a good communicator, both verbal and written.
The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to RV Vetting.
Please note, if you are an internal candidate and subject to an ongoing PSD investigation, your appointment or placement in the role may be delayed pending an outcome. Whether the role is held open will be considered on a case-by-case basis
