This role is fixed-term for 12-months initially.

About Police Collaboration Wales

  • We are a growing team who work across projects in police forces in Wales to aid the delivery of collaboration. These projects include areas such as sustainability, people, digital, forensics and more!
  • We are embarking on a new change programme in 2025, specifically targeting continuous improvement within the existing GoSafe partnership. You can read more about GoSafe here: www.gosafe.org
  • We work on a range of exciting projects and programmes across the four Welsh police forces from our main offices in the Bridgend and Pontypridd area.
  • We mainly work between core hours of 8am and 5pm Monday-Friday though do sometimes support activity on the weekend and evenings.

About the role and your key responsibilities:  

The post holder will…

  • Provide day to day management of the GoSafe change programme team and review, including professionalising the departments approach to project, change and benefits management.
  • Developing an enhanced target operating model with police and partner collaboration at the core.
  • Updating a senior stakeholders on the implementation of change; including reporting through robust governance.

What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:

We are keen to hear from you if you are well organised, proficient in Microsoft applications with previous experienced of project or change management in dynamic environments. You must be able to work with a wide range of people, have clear communications skills and be able to champion the work of the department. You will have managed, developed or coached people and be able to drive forward our collaborative agenda. Knowledge of HR and financial management is key.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
