Regional Review Retention and Disposal Officer
We are looking for dedicated individuals to work within our Information Management Unit to review Police information in our Genie computer system, incorporating information relating to the six forces of the East Midlands and City of London Niche collaboration. Full training will be provided.The aim of the Review, Retention and Disposal (RRD) process is to protect the public and ensure that we retain information that is both accurate and lawful, in line with national guidance and legislation.
You will work as part of a great supportive team, reviewing information and making appropriate retention and disposal decisions in line with our comprehensive guide. You will ensure that the records reviewed are of the highest standard and will make the initial decision to retain or dispose of records before they are again reviewed for authorisation by a Supervisor. All work will be conducted electronically, and you will be issued with a laptop computer and mobile phone.
