We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as a Digital Forensics Apprentice in our Digital Forensics Unit (DFU). Could you be who we are looking for?
About the team/Department you will be joining:
- We are a team based in the Digital Forensics Unit who oversee the processing of digital devices seized as part of criminal investigations.
- We work 8-4 Monday-Friday though do sometimes support the occasional event outside these hours.
- The role requires attendance at the office due to the need to access specialist equipment.
About the role and your key responsibilities:
- This role will support the Digital Forensics Team in providing support across the force by overseeing digital forensic examinations.
- This role will provide undefined to the Digital Forensics team through effective organisation and management of property and equipment.
- This role will be responsible for overseeing effective and timely responses to enquiries relating to forensic submissions.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
- We are looking for someone who has previous experience or a keen interest in Digital Forensic investigations.
- We are keen to hear from you if you are highly competent with Microsoft systems and have previous administrative experience.
Qualification Criteria
You must have a good standard of education to at least GCSE A-C Level, including Maths and English, or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and abilities.
You must be eligible to register for a Level 3 apprenticeship in a relevant subject.
