We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as an Intern Analyst in our Performance Team. Could you be who we are looking for?
About the team/Department you will be joining:
- The Performance Team is part of the Corporate Services Department based at Headquarters in Bridgend
- We operate a hybrid model with an element of remote working
- The team work Monday to Friday
About the role and your key responsibilities:
The purpose of the role is to support the Chief Constable’s Delivery Plan by providing analytical insights into operational and organisational matters, enabling stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to make confident evidence-based decisions about the management of their area.
Duties in the role include:
- Give advice and guidance to customers, on the phone, face-to face and electronic, on related area of work following standard procedures
- Investigate problem/issue(s) and provide appropriate solution(s)
- May involve inspecting and reviewing situations for compliance
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
- Welsh Language Level 2 - Can understand the essence of a conversation, convey basic information, contribute to meetings, transfer telephone calls and respond to simple requests in Welsh. Also introduce oneself and others by name, role, and location/organisation
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications demonstrating a high level of computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet and database software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences in a calm and patient manner
