Initial Eligibility Criteria:

  • Currently serving or former officers from a Home Office Police Force or Police Scotland.
  • Transferee applicants: Substantive in rank with a completed probationary period.
  • Re-joiner applicants: Substantive in rank and applying within five years of leaving their previous force.
  • Must have lived in the UK for at least three consecutive years prior to application.
  • Must not be under any unsatisfactory performance reviews, live warnings, or current investigations.
  • Applicants with active CCJs, unmanaged IVAs, or bankruptcy cannot apply.
  • Applications will not be accepted from individuals dismissed from another force.
  •  Role-Specific Eligibility Criteria:

  • PIP2 accreditation preferred.
  • Trainee Detectives and Police Constables with significant investigative experience are welcome to apply.
  • Note: Re-joiners may require additional training or an extended induction on joining.
