West Yorkshire Police are looking to recruit a CT Case Officer to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terrorism Policing.
In this role, you will manage Prevent referrals in line with National policy, ensuring case management actions and decisions are recorded. You will attend Channel Panel meetings to provide relevant information and assessments to assist effective decisions and develop case management plans, plus undertake relevant actions from the Panels to reduce risk and safeguard subjects.
You will be required to have the ability to communicate complex and sensitive subject matter to large and diverse groups. In addition, you will have a working knowledge of the current CT strategy, Counter Terrorism and Security Act 2015, Channel Programme and Prevent strategy.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with and problem-solving with, external agencies together with a proven ability to work with minimum supervision in situations demanding sensitivity and confidentiality.
Applicants must have a full current UK/European driving licence and be prepared to work flexible hours to suit the CTP requirements.
