We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as a Performance and Resource Officer in our Estates & Facilities Department. Could you be who we are looking for? 

About the team/Department you will be joining: 

Located at our Police Headquarters, Bridgend.

The successful candidate will assist with property asset management, working with a team of dedicated individuals, covering all aspects of Estates & Facilities works. 

About the role and your key responsibilities: 

An opportunity has arisen for the Performance and Resource Officer at our Bridgend Police Headquarters site, albeit covering all of the South Wales Police geographic area. The successful person will assist the Estates Property Asset Manager with sales, acquisitions, leases and licences as well as ensuring that all buildings are fully compliant with set standards. 

What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role: 

The successful candidate – 

  • Must have a good standard of education to at least A level, including Maths and English, or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and abilities.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel and Teams.
  • Must have analytical skills in reviewing and presenting complex information
  • Strong verbal communication skills and experience of negotiating contracts/property terms
  • Strong written communication skills with evidence of report writing
  • Experience in managing property asset information
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety 

A current valid driving licence is essential to enable travel within the South Wales Police area and property portfolio 

This role is suitable for part time/job share workers due to operational requirements. 

Please note, if you are subject to an ongoing PSD investigation, your appointment or placement in the role may be delayed pending an outcome. Whether the role is held open will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Please note the successful candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to the required level RV.
