HP - Volunteer Band Librarian
Role: Volunteer Band Librarian
Location: Beverley
Hours: Encouraged to do a minimum of 8 hours per month
As Humberside Police Band Library Catalogue Assistant, you will work alongside the Band musicians to look after the bands music library. You will have a chance to give back to your community while gaining an insight into policing.
As a member of the Humberside Police Band, you will:
- Carry out audit of the Band’s music library and update spreadsheets accordingly.
- Put music out, repair, copy and replace music when required. Cataloguing new music.
- Other administration duties that will assist the Band Management.
Skills and knowledge required:
- Basic computer skills to input data into Excel spreadsheets.
- Due to the nature of this role, volunteer would need to be comfortable with climbing a three-step platform ladder to access music folders.
- Knowledge of working with confidential information.
- Experience of working in a clerical field.
- Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and a professional attitude.
- Access to own car would be beneficial due to locations of events.

- Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria of at least 5 years to apply for a role within Humberside in any capacity.
