Executive Assistant
We are welcoming applications for the role of Executive Assistant with Devon & Cornwall Police based at the following location(s): Police Headquarters, Exeter
Salary: Grade 5 - Starts at £29,109 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £31,296 per annum
Please note that the above salary is based on working 37 hours per week. If this role is part-time or you are appointed on a part-time basis your salary will be prorated to reflect this. Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Devon and Cornwall or Dorset Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to work as part of the Executive Support Team, managing the daily activity and delivery of the Director of Legal, Reputation and Risk’s portfolio commitments and responsibilities.

Working within the highest level of the organisation, the Executive Support Team consists of police staff and police officers who provide key organisational and business support to the Force Executive Team. This is an exciting opportunity that will provide you with a wealth of knowledge and experience and an interesting insight into many different areas of policing.
Assisting with key areas of the business, the role involves extensive diary and inbox management, managing workflow, audio transcription, minute taking, and ensuring deadlines are met.
If you have excellent planning and organisational skills, are proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 applications and have experience of working in a similar environment without close supervision, then please get in touch.
This is a job-share post, and you will be required to work 14.8 hours per week on a Thursday and Friday. Flexitime will apply. The role is based at Police Headquarters, Middlemoor.

Selection Stage:
The selection for this role will consist of Shortlisting, Interview.
Applications will be anonymised and then shortlisted by the shortlisting panel. Following the shortlisting you will be notified of the recruitment decision via email along with feedback on your application.
If successful, you will then be invited to an interview. This will be based on the behaviours outlined within the role profile. The interview process is due to take place week commencing 11 December 2024.

Pre-requisites:
