Intelligence Officer
As part of the team working in the Specialist Crime Division, you can make a real difference by supporting the provision of Intelligence Support to our officers and staff across the second largest police force in the UK.

Key responsibilities of the role include -
To receive, evaluate, sanitise and disseminate intelligence information within his or her territorial Division. To ensure that sanitised intelligence is disseminated to the appropriate individuals in Division(s)/Department(s), the National Intelligence Bureau and to other users within the SID environment.
To act as the conduit between the Local Intelligence Officer and other Force departments, Local Intelligence Units, Crime Stoppers, Telecoms’ Unit, Source Management Unit and associated partners within the Law Enforcement environment.
To maintain and develop liaison with other outside agencies, Department of Work and Pensions, Scottish Prison Service, HMRC, UKBA and SOCA.
