Salary Banding £25,380 - £30,957 Depending on experience

Commercial Services is part of the Enabling Services provided by Staffordshire Police, to ensure all our Officers are supported with the correct tools to be able to deliver their critical jobs. It currently consists of a team of 16 colleagues working across Procurement, Purchasing and Insurance.

There is currently an exciting new role within our Commercial Services Team, as a Procurement Officer. Due to the IT transition of bringing IT back in house within Staffordshire Police we are in need of a Procurement specialist to support with this.

You will work alongside 8 other Procurement and commercial specialists to deliver a robust and strategic approach for negotiating contracts for Staffordshire Police, The Commissioner and Staffordshire Fire & Rescue, ensuring value for money is consistently achieved. .

An opportunity to help shape the work of the commercial team aligned to the IT team, in a brand new way of working and helping to deliver some key and significant new contracts along with some contract renewals.
