Recruitment Administrator
North Wales Police are looking to recruit a Recruitment Administrator!
The role requires applicants who can demonstrate skills in the following areas:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent level of qualification in a relevant subject area e.g. Business Administration, Personnel Practice, Customer Service, or be able to evidence an equivalent and relevant amount of experience.
- Possess and be able to evidence excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience of dealing with people at all levels, internally and externally.
- Computer literate to include experience of using Microsoft Office to a competent level.
- Able to demonstrate experience of using relevant IT systems and software for recording and retrieving information.
- Previous experience of providing general administrative support within an organisation
- Must have ability to type/word process to 35 wpm.
- Be able to work as part of a team or independently using own initiative.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines, responding positively under pressure.
- Evidence of the ability to pay close attention to detail.
This role is a temporary position until January 2021
Interviews are expected to take place week commencing 11th May 2020
Welsh Language
Level 3 Welsh language skills are essential for this post. Please refer to the NWP Welsh Language Skills Policy for details on your eligibility criteria and learning commitments throughout probation.

In accordance with the North Wales Police Welsh Language Skills Policy prior to an offer of appointment being made, if you do not already speak Welsh you will be required to achieve Level 2 in spoken Welsh. In essence this means that you can understand and pronounce Welsh place names and peoples’ names as well as an ability to understand and use simple everyday spoken Welsh phrases. All the support material required to satisfy this requirement is available on the Force Website. You will also be required to demonstrate Level 3 spoken skills during your probation period, for which you will be fully supported.
