An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Police Staff Policing Through Technology Trainer to join the Policing Through Technology Training Team based in Learning & Development. #JoinUs as a technology trainer. Could you be who we are looking for?
You will be at the forefront of planning and delivering training to staff both internally and externally, helping develop those individuals in line with best practice.
About the team/Department you will be joining:
- We are a small friendly team that’s sits within a large innovative department who deliver technology training to police officers, police staff and external customers. Team members are looking forward to encouraging and supporting you in your new role to be the best that you can be.
- The team is based in Ty Morgannwg, Police Headquarters, Bridgend.
- The team works Monday – Friday 9-5.
About the role and your key responsibilities:
- This role will require the management of a team of trainers on a job share basis of 14.80 hours per week.
- This role will involve managing a team who are responsible for training police officers and staff regarding the training of technology within policing, advising and giving guidance to internal and external customers on a strategic level face to face or via the telephone.
- This role will look at new and innovative ways to deliver technology training.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
- We are looking for someone who has previous experience of teaching/training including management experience.
- It is essential that you have a recognised training qualification.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
