Apprentice - Professional Standards Department
At North Wales Police we have a great opportunity for an Apprentice Administrator Assistant to join the Professional Standards Department, where you’ll obtain a solid understanding of business administration and customer services across designated business areas at our offices in Colwyn Bay.
With this apprenticeship opportunity, we’ll employ you on a 2-year fixed term contract as you work alongside an enthusiastic team who are committed to supporting and mentoring you whilst you work towards completing a NVQ Level 2. You will be required to demonstrate in your application the minimum requirement for the role:
- You’ll be working towards, or have a desire to work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration / Customer Service.
- IT skills and an understanding of Microsoft Office or similar IT packages
- Good written and communication skills.
- The ability to work well in a team and alone.
- Self-motivated to learn and to apply your learning in the workplace.
Please note, to be considered for the role you must have already obtained 2 GCSEs at Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent level of qualifications).
There is no age limit on applications for this role however due to funding restrictions candidates who are degree holders (level 5 or above qualification) are unable to apply.
Applications may not be considered from individuals who already hold a NVQ Level 2 (or higher) in Business Administration/ Customer Service or similar subject.
