Salary: Scale 4, £27,204 - £29,859 per annum.
Hours: 37 hours per week.
Contract: Permanent

About The Role
We have an exciting role providing a range of administrative support services to the Chief Officer
Support senior leadership team.
We are looking for an organised and proactive individual to join our Chief Officer Group (COG) Support Office. This is a unique opportunity to provide high‑quality administrative support at the heart of the organisation, working closely with the Chief of Staff, Office Manager & EA to the Chief Constable, and Staff Officer to the Deputy Chief Constable.
In this varied role, you will manage shared mailboxes, handle incoming correspondence, maintain accurate records and systems, and support the coordination of tasks, projects and office management activity. You will also play an important part in our Reward and Recognition programme, including attending awards ceremonies to assist with running these key events.
The role requires exceptional professionalism, sound judgement, and absolute discretion, with regular access to sensitive and confidential information. You will help maintain an organised and efficient office environment while managing files and folders for the Chief Constable’s portfolio.
Although primarily based within the COG Support office, some travel across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight will be required, including attendance at ceremonies typically held at Netley during late afternoons and early evenings.

Essential Qualifications
Educated to QCF level 2, to include Maths and English
or work experience deemed to have brought the
individual to a comparable level.
Essential Experience
Must be able to use common office software to a high
standard.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills,
adaptable to all levels of the organisation.
Ability to plan and coordinate various tasks
