We are looking for a motivated, committed and trustworthy individual to assist in the management of expenditure in support of National Security investigations.
The post holder will be responsible for handling and accounting for the movement of cash and financial records across multiple accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. This includes carrying out monthly reconciliations and maintaining robust financial records to support operational requirements.
You will play a key part in maintaining the financial infrastructure required for the safe delivery of sensitive operational tactics, while assisting in the development and improvement of systems that mitigate risk and enhance the effectiveness of operational resources. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to investigative work while applying your financial expertise.
The role requires handling sensitive information, including personal material, with the highest levels of discretion and accuracy. You must be able to work to fixed timescales, often with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative when required.
Competence in financial administration, strong attention to detail, and confidence in using computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, are essential for success in this role.
