We have CID bases at the following stations: Lincoln, Gainsborough, Grantham, Boston, Spalding, Skegness and Louth.
We're currently welcoming applications from Detective Constable transferees to join our team in 2026, with multiple intakes planned throughout the year. v Our PIP2-accredited detectives play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable individuals and bringing offenders to justice. As a Detective in CID, you'll be at the forefront of specialist investigations, including:
- Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
- Serious violence and organised crime
- Drug trafficking operations
- Residential burglary investigations
You’ll contribute to both reactive and proactive casework, working collaboratively across teams and departments to detect crime, disrupt offenders, and protect communities from further harm.
To be eligible to apply, candidates must already hold PIP2 accreditation and be prepared to contribute from the outset.
