The Opportunity

Are you passionate about delivering excellent service and driving continuous improvement? Join our Transport & Logistics team and play a key role in ensuring high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused services across North Yorkshire Police.

Working collaboratively with the Transport & Logistics team and key colleagues, you will:

  • Ensure service delivery meets agreed KPIs and SLAs.
  • Contribute to process improvements and support key projects to maintain regulatory and legal compliance.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive team culture and a “one team” approach for service users.

You’ll also support record management, audits, and performance monitoring, while providing guidance and high-quality transactional support to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate Transport & Logistics records and systems.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and timely support.
  • Monitor and audit data and processes for quality assurance.
  • Coach and develop team members to improve performance.
  • Respond to queries and provide advice on procedures and processes.
  • Assist with project work, reporting, and invoice processing.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

  • Hold a full UK manual driving licence
  • Internal applicants must have successfully completed their probation period
