The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Technician to join our Finance Team.
We are looking for someone to join our Finance Team and contribute to the core accounting function. The right person will be somebody part or fully AAT qualified or somebody who has equivalent experience within a finance environment.
Key responsibilities:
You will be responsible for supporting the wider Finance department in carrying out transactional accounting to the year-end, annual budget and in year budget monitoring processes. This will include processing transactions to the Oracle finance system, treasury management activity, Journals, Budget and Forecast Virements.
Additional duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Performing month end processing, and preparing reconciliations in accordance with the agreed timetable
- Carry out workflow monitoring and participate /contribute toward associated error resolution
- Contribute toward support and development of system environments
- Assist with provision of service reporting to colleagues
