The Dog Training Unit are looking for someone who can assist the Unit Head by providing and delivering the necessary training to meet the needs of the dog unit.
The successful candidate will be required to have experience in the training of operational police dogs or dogs of a similar nature, experience of researching and designing relevant training programmes.
It is essential for this role that you have the ability to handle the dogs and maintain the training standards of all dogs as determined by Home Office Guideline, provide advise to the dog handlers on the care and maintenance of their dogs.
The role requires you to be flexible, willing to work unsociable hours when required.
