PO3/4 - Drive Fellow

Drive works with high-harm high-risk perpetrators of domestic violence and abuse – the people who pose the greatest risk of serious harm or murder to people they are in intimate or family relationships with. The intervention incorporates intensive one-to-one work and case management delivered by third sector service providers alongside a coordinated police-led multi-agency response that disrupts opportunities for abuse to be carried out.  As a multi-agency response, Drive requires all key stakeholders (police, probation, children’s services, housing, mental health, IDVA provision etc.) to share information and complete action to effectively prevent and disrupt abuse. In order to set up Drive in a new area and for it to operate effectively, a detailed understanding of the local multi agency forums and processes is required, and services may need to adapt to Drive’s multi-agency way of working.

Cheshire Constabulary are recruiting for a Drive Police Fellow to direct the set-up and implementation of a new local site for Drive in conjunction with Drive Implementation Team and Practice Advisor.   The Drive Fellow will bring their local expertise and knowledge to ensure that Drive fits and adapts effectively to the local context and facilitate effective multi-agency collaboration, for the purpose of implementing Drive in their local area.  In preparation for commencement of service delivery, the Drive Fellow will focus on ensuring that the right multi-agency forums and working practices are developed, and that Drive is given a high level of focus and buy-in from key stakeholders. They will work closely with the Drive Central team in scoping services, building relationships and advocating for the service.
