Out of Court Resolutions Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Criminal Justice team as an Out of Court Resolution Administrator. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective and lawful use of Out of Court Resolutions (OOCR) under the national two-tier caution framework and Community Resolutions. OOCRs are a vital tool for addressing low-level offending without court proceedings - reducing reoffending, delivering timely and proportionate justice, and meeting victims’ needs while easing pressure on the criminal justice system.

Working within a small, collaborative team, you will play a key role in maintaining compliance with Ministry of Justice and Force policy, supporting officers, and liaising with partners to ensure the integrity of the OOCR process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review Niche occurrences and conduct Offender Needs Assessments.
  • Confirm appropriate diversionary activities and arrange referrals.
  • Monitor outcomes and finalise records to ensure compliance.
  • Act as a point of contact for officers, staff, and partners regarding disposal options.
  • Administer Drug Testing on Arrest (DToA) and perform daily custody compliance checks.
  • Prepare prosecution files where defendants fail to engage.
  • Maintain accurate records of OOCR usage and provide data to the OOCR Coordinator.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including third-sector providers.

Why This Role Matters

This position is integral to delivering a professionalised out-of-court process for Lincolnshire Police. By ensuring compliance and supporting officers, you will help reduce reoffending, improve victim satisfaction, and contribute to a more efficient criminal justice system.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within policy frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
  • Knowledge of criminal justice processes (desirable but not essential).
