Partnership Review Officer - Police Staff
Main Purpose of Role
To support Partnership Reviews for Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews, Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews and Adult Safeguarding Reviews. This contributes to changing practice across Nottinghamshire Police to enhance the provision of managing vulnerable adults and children whilst keeping our communities safe and protecting vulnerable people.
Key Skills & Experience Required
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Good understanding of partnership review and monitoring changes Nationally, Regionally and Locally in order to adapt and improve practice whilst adhering to College of Policing guidance
- Experience of producing written reports, understanding and analysing complex reports, providing analysis and develop power points summarising key data.
- Experience of attending multi agency meetings and presenting complex information in multi agency settings.
- Knowledge & experience of safeguarding practices for vulnerable people.
- Knowledge & experience of undertaking audit and compliance work within the public sector.
- Experience of developing and producing clear briefings, reports, data analysis.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop clear guidance and make presentations to explain complex issues to a range of audiences with various levels of understanding.
- Ability to demonstrate sound analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to advise, influence and negotiate across different levels of organisations.
- Capable of establishing a high degree of personal credibility with internal and external contacts at all levels.
- Planning and organisational ability to manage a high workload and balance priorities.
- Possess strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Able to demonstrate a personal commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in line with Nottinghamshire Police values.
- Access to transport and a willingness to travel regionally and nationally as required.
- Flexible to meet the demands of the role in line with the Police Staff Handbook.
- Must be willing to go through Management Vetting.
- Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for all staff including a record of developing own CPD
