- S25-355 Facilities & Compliance Operative (LC4)
Lancashire Constabulary is looking for a Facilities & Compliance Operative to join our team.
Your week will be scheduled into site and station visits where you will be conducting a series of statutory checks such as testing the fire alarm, flushing low use water outlets, checking on the condition of known asbestos and other visual inspections to ensure we are legislatively compliant. Any faults or issues arising from these checks will be reported back the maintenance team for further action.
The role will also involve project work such as office moves, station tidy ups, external site clearances and undertaking monthly meter reads
Daily you will pick up any overnight requests from the mailbox and view the Compliance spreadsheet for any requests that have been added for action such as meeting contractors, delivering building supplies such as hand towels and toilet rolls, or requests for furniture relocations.
You will also be expected to update and maintain spreadsheets and input data into the CAFM facilities management system, and work alongside your colleagues in the Facilities team., You will be supervised and managed locally by a team leader and office manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure legislative, statutory and good practice ‘competent person’ weekly, monthly/quarterly compliance checks are carried out and recorded.
- To act as lead for divisional logistical space/office moves, relocations and office/conference set-ups.
- To act as first line estate champion to ensure stations, offices and grounds are kept to a presentable standard.
- To act as Constabulary attendant for external contractors within offices and stations within the division.

Please be aware, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Recruitment Vetting (RV). Please be aware there is a minimum 3 year UK residency requirement for Recruitment vetting and you must be 18 years old at the point of applying.
