- S25-361 Kitchen Team Leader (LC5)
Applications are invited for the post of Kitchen Team Leader within Estates and Facilities Management, Catering Services Team based at Preston Police Station.
Key Responsibilities:
- To oversee the catering function within the specific catering facility.
- To plan and design menus, schedule the recipes, ensure sufficient stock is available to maintain daily food provisions in line with menus including additional stock ordering with the meal allowance budget as agreed, in conjunction with the Catering Services Supervisor.
- Liaise with the Cost Controller for stock ordering and replenishment, ensuring it is within the required usage
- To plan and execute monthly health and safety checks, record data and share accordingly with the relevant stakeholders
- To undertake other duties and additional responsibilities which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities and grading as and when required

Skills and Experience:
- Food Hygiene and Safety qualification (level 3)
- Experience of line management including managing, motivating and developing staff to nurture a highly skilled team
- Knowledge and experience of working in a busy kitchen environment
Vetting and Medical:
Please be aware, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Recruitment Vetting (RV). Please be aware there is a minimum 3 year UK residency requirement for Management vetting and you must be 18 years old at the point of applying. Successful applicants will also be subject to a medical assessment.
