Projects and Commissioning Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner as a Projects and Commissioning Manager on a 12-month contract.

In this role, you will lead on delivery of the Commissioner’s Police and Crime initiatives, co-ordinating and delivering new and existing projects and commissioning and monitoring services that support the achievement of the strategic priorities as set out in the Police and Crime Plan

The successful applicant should have previous project management experience in a diverse multi-project or programme environment, as well as experience of commissioning.  You will be required to demonstrate knowledge of the role of the PCC and the policy and strategies that would affect the work of the PCC.  The ability to work effectively in partnership with a range of service providers and stakeholders and to prioritise conflicting demands are also critical to this role.

Travel within the Lincolnshire area will be required.

The post has arisen due to the need to backfill elements of the Director of Strategy and Operations portfolio whilst they undertake the role of Interim Chief Executive.  Secondments from local public sector organisations would be considered.
