Role: Administrator of the Stolen Motor Vehicles App

Humberside Police are seeking an enthusiastic individual to volunteer as an Administrator within the Community Safety Unit. This voluntary role offers a unique opportunity to support the Stolen Motor Vehicles (SMV) App, a vital tool in helping victims of vehicle crime.
As a Volunteer Administrator, you’ll assist in maintaining the SMV App by contacting victims and uploading stolen vehicle details. Your contribution will directly support police efforts and enhance public safety.
This is a fantastic chance to gain valuable insight into police operations while making a meaningful difference in your community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identifies any relevant critical Intelligence information that needs to be dealt with as a matter of urgency, by bringing to the attention of their SPOC.
• Works within defined guidelines.
• Has the ability to recognise when matters should be referred to more senior staff.

Pre – Employment Checks and Eligibility:
• Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria of at least 3 years continuous residency in the UK to apply for roles with Humberside Police.
• Successful candidates will undergo a vetting procedure pre-requisite of employment. (Please note, with holding any information asked by the vetting department, may delay the vetting procedure, or result in your vetting been refused and the offer of employment been withdrawn)
• Tattoo’s will be reviewed as a part of the recruitment process to ensure we maintain a level of professional standards and to make sure the images do not cause offence or are unacceptable.
